Frame sliders are not designed to prevent your bike from damaged, even though they might help sometimes.2. You do not want a slider to stick out too far or it will flip your bike in a crash by snagging on the ground, curb or anything else.3. Acetal pucks produce a softer touch down when crash as they will grind off and not catch on anything.4. If your slider shattered, grinded off or bended then it did it's job. You don't want it solid after a crash as it didn't absorb any energy but merely transferred onto where it bolted to.5. When f1 cars hit the side of a track they explode as they protect the drivers from absorbing the energy. Frame sliders are the same. No instructions, but it's not difficult to figure it out as youtube can help, Make sure to use loctite since they do loosen up over time, mine is 08 gsxr 600.3. They do the job but you will need new bolts as these provided don't work well. Installation should take no more than 15 minutes.4. The best part is the offset piece that allows you to put the slider on without cutting a hole into my fairings.5. These frame sliders made the difference between a total loss and a minor cosmetic repair. A must have for any superbike rider!
